Law school clinics and academic freedom

The current issue of Academe Online ("Kneecapping" Academic Freedom) highlights increasing attacks on law school clinics. Clinics are an important opportunity for students to receive hands on legal experience, but clinics may be challenged when they represent clients opposed to corporate or legislative interests.
