Blawgs with International Views

While American law students taking exams this week are focused with laser beam intensity on American law, their legal world is increasingly global. Foreign and internationally-focused legal blogs are great tools for mining the latest news and trends from across the world. For example, the London Times recently launched its own “Law Weblog” that continually updates legal issues and practice trends in the UK, corporate and criminal justice news from a UK perspective, and UK law student life. "Opinio Juris", a blog “dedicated to reports, commentary, and debate on current developments and scholarship in the fields of international law and politics” casts a wide net, from international tribunals to security, trade, economics and the environment. Finally, for those either joining the Australia Summer Law Program or curious about the legal world “down under,” there is “Australian Legal Eye,” with news and perspective from that corner of the world.
