Research Resources: Polling the Nations

I want to share a perrfectly wonderful post by Howard E. Graves, Senior Assistant Dean
Hofstra University Library:

"Want to add another dimension to your paper with the results of public opinion polls?   Then you need to use the database Polling the Nations.  It is the most comprehensive collection of public opinion polls available with results from more than 18,000 surveys from over 1,700 sources.   It even includes survey results from over 100 other countries.  Searches can be conducted using drop-down lists to enter search terms and qualifications or you can use the template and put in your own.  Search results can be printed, exported, or emailed."

To access Polling the Nations:

  • Go to the Axinn Library's home page
  • Click on the blue Research Resources tab, and choose Research Databases.
  • Select Polling the Nations from the alphabetical list
